From a very young age I always loved drawing, mainly in pencil, and nearly always animals.
On leaving school I would have liked to have study art but was encouraged to get a so called “proper” career. I always kept drawing though and whilst living in Abu Dhabi I met an English artist with whom I studied various mediums and techniques. During this time I was encouraged to paint lots of different subjects but always came back to painting my first love - animals.
I then decided to concentrate solely on animal portraits and took a course with the Lodon Art College specialising in animal ...

Happily I have now found the area and medium that I am truely comfortable with.
