I started taking pictures in my late teens, my first camera was a used OM-1, I still have it. I loved the "Planting Fields" in Oyster Bay, the English Garden and the large rolling lawn, where people would set up blankets and play frisbee. I took a lot of pictures of flowers there. The second place I loved taking pictures way in the sky, a friend was a pilot with a couple of planes. It was one thing to lay on the lawn and look at the clouds, it was another to fly through them and snap away.

My first digital camera, lots & lots of hiking in beautiful Harrimen State Park, and lots and lots of pictures, I'm in love again. I try to take pictures that reflect how I see it in my "mind". I try to capture color, texture, maybe even a feel. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
