Kate Childers

Educated in the midwest - University of South Dakota, Minneopolis College of Art and Design, the Kansas City Art Institude, since then moved to the west coast to Northern California where I've done some graduate work at the Academy of Art in San Fransisco.

I've worked in conte and carbon pencil(drawing), acrylic(painting), photography, fabric, hot glass and digital arts. Digital art is wonderful since you don't have to dedicate quite so much physical space to it. I'm hoping in the next few years to be able to set up enough space to go back to drawing and painting.
