Keely Dolan

My name is Keely Dolan, and I'm a Seattle based artist. I work in many mediums, but primarily in the hyper-detailed medium of scratchboard, manipulating it uniquely like a very fine woodcut. I often add watercolor to my finished pieces, which, on the starkness of the white of the uncovered scratchboard, often gives my originals a jewel-like quality.

My inspiration comes from dreams and nature, with a sprinkling of the occult. I am interested in the symbolism of nature and how it can transcend into our sleeping hours.
