I've been an artist for over 40 years, making abstract paintings and recently I started working with the computer to develop my ideas.
My paintings, although usually developed from the human form, are almost always abstract, life drawings being the starting point for most of them. The photographic studies of recent years have usually remained figurative although I see the work as surreal in nature. The digital work started as a way of developing new ideas for abstract paintings more quickly, as I tend to work slowly, but have now become a series of works in their own right.
