I grew up along the South Carolina coast, and attended Clemson University, where I received a degree in Business Management. Most of my adult life has been spent living up and down I-85: Greenville/Spartanburg, SC, Atlanta, GA, and currently in Charlotte, NC. My love of creating art began in high school with a wonderful art teacher, “Mr. Gore”. I always maintained my love of art and interior design through the years, but placed “creating” it on hold after marrying and having two fabulous sons. I grew up along the South Carolina coast, and attended Clemson University, where I received a degree in Business Management. Most of my adult life has been spent living up and down I-85: Greenville/Spartanburg, SC, Atlanta, GA, and currently in Charlotte, NC. My love of creating art began in high school with a wonderful art teacher, “Mr. Gore”. I always maintained my love of art and interior design through the years, but placed “creating” it on hold after marrying and having two fabulous sons. While living in Atlanta, I decided to pick up the brush again, experimenting with turning one of my great passions into a career choice. Currently, and for the last several years I have studied at Braitman Studio in Charlotte with not only an extremely gifted artist, but also a fabulous friend and mentor, Andy Braitman. When not painting I enjoy watching my sons play sports, and following my beloved Clemson Tigers and Carolina Panthers! I am also an avid exerciser, having taught classes for twenty years, and enjoy photography.
