My current paintings use windows and curtains to set a stage for a narrative. By selecting curtain fabrics which best embody the sentiments I hope to convey, I hope the viewer is drawn by the meticulous details to discover the people, the place and the story wedged behind them.
I have a BFA in painting and BA in Art History from Indiana University in Bloomington. I graduated with a MFA in Painting from Yale School of Art in 1996. Since then, I have exhibited widely in the U.S. and South Korea.
