I have a Masters in piano performance from Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University and a good portion of my life has been devoted to the study of classical music. In October of 2008, after roughly 10 years of creative inactivity, I decided to paint. In the past 4 years I have found the challenges and problems one faces in the two mediums (music and painting) are the same though the technical means are different.
