Michelle Ciarlo-Hayes

Michelle is an award-winning fine art photographer and digital artist from Philadelphia, and uses a variety of techniques (traditional film, antique viewfinders, digital collage and painting) to create her art. Her work has been featured in a number of venues, including the Tiberino Memorial Museum (PA), City Hall (Phila, PA), Straube Art Center (NJ), and the Space Gallery (CA). Her work has been featured in a number of venues, including the Tiberino Memorial Museum (PA), City Hall (Phila, PA), Straube Art Center (NJ), and the Space Gallery (CA). Michelle’s collection of whimsical photo collages, “Little Poems,” will also be available as a line of calendars, journals, and bookmarks available at Barnes & Noble and other major retailers in 2013.
When she’s not crawling through the grass to capture the perfect photograph, Michelle continues to write and publish short fiction and non-fiction work that appears in numerous anthologies. She lives just outside the city with her husband, two young boys, and one very badly behaved dog.
