Born in Akron Ohio David spent most of his early childhood exploring the great outdoors blazing new paths in the fresh fallen snow, catching butterflies and lightning bugs, spending endless summers living out of a canvas tent, then winding out the year carving pumpkins and jumping in the fresh pile of raked leaves. Having spent three quarters of his days outside playing it is no surprise that he gained a huge appreciation for the beauty of nature.

Born in Akron Ohio David spent most of his early childhood exploring the great outdoors blazing new paths in the fresh fallen snow, catching butterflies and lightning bugs, spending endless summers living out of a canvas tent, then winding out the year carving pumpkins and jumping in the fresh pile of raked leaves. Having spent three quarters of his days outside playing it is no surprise that he gained a huge appreciation for the beauty of nature.

The love of the camera was instilled early in David’s life, as his father was a photography enthusiast who managed to capture nearly every moment of David and his family’s life. Later, while traveling the globe serving in the United States Navy, David rediscovered his love of the camera and its ability to capture a place in time forever.

David believes one can stand in the same place for 365 days and never see the same scene twice. David enjoys seeing the world from different perspectives such as from a tiny ants point of view or how a soaring eagle may observe the earth. Capturing the wonders of this amazing planet and its inhabitants in a manner most never see is a passion that keeps David looking through the glass.

When the batteries are recharging and he stops to take a breath, David calls Chattanooga Tennessee home.
