Description Patterns caused by the receding tide on Firemore Beach, Inverasdale, Wester Ross, Scotland. The image has been turned through 180 degrees giving the impression that the water is standing proud of the sand, looking not unlike rivlets of mercury
Stephen Maxwell, Bangor, County Down Member Since August 2008 Artist Statement I returned to photography and the digital age in the early 2000s after a break of about 18 years. I enjoy the immediacy of digital photography and I am not averse to post production work on an image. I enjoy walking and travelling and have my camera with me a s a consequence of these activities. Photography is a means of relaxation and I enjoy it for itself. I am glad that others enjoy, comment upon and even purchase my work.
