Description It's a typical Monday morning washday inside Apartmente No. 37. Meanwhile out on the street, all heck is breaking loose!! Unbeknownst to the busy housewife, one of her many kittens has spotted greener pastures across the way and decides to cross the quickest way he can see - via the clothesline. Is it the fish market that is drawing him or the kitty in the window? Everyone else (including the canary) seems to notice except the poor lady inside No. 37. The action filled humorous print is from an original acrylic painting by Rebecca Stringer Korpta.
Rebecca Korpita, Mississippi Gulf Coast Member Since September 2011 Artist Statement I am an artist living on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. I am inspired by the coastal area - the beaches, the laid back lifestyle, southern culture, New Orleans, Key West and the south in general. I also love to paint dogs and cats. I find their expressions amusing and their little everyday agendas pretty interesting as well. As you can probably tell, I love humor and color. I hope you enjoy my art. Thanks for stopping by!
