Artist Statement "Art is personal. Everyone reacts to it differently, so you must paint only for yourself." This is the advice I heed when it comes to painting. It came from my mother who was an art teacher and a very wise woman.

I began painting with acrylics when I was young enough to think that trees only bore apples or Christmas gifts. Since then I have moved on to favor the more relaxed pace of oils. I paint now to create worlds that I would enjoy living in.
