Description A group of friends meet for lunch at the Corner of Barracks and Decatur in the French Quarter of New Orleans in front of an historic old building across from the French Market. This digital painting has an old distressed look and is based on an original photograph taken on a beautiful spring day in NOLA by Rebecca Korpita.
Rebecca Korpita, Mississippi Gulf Coast Member Since September 2011 Artist Statement I am an artist living on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. I am inspired by the coastal area - the beaches, the laid back lifestyle, southern culture, New Orleans, Key West and the south in general. I also love to paint dogs and cats. I find their expressions amusing and their little everyday agendas pretty interesting as well. As you can probably tell, I love humor and color. I hope you enjoy my art. Thanks for stopping by!
