Description A shot of an old car in Pittsville, WI - known as the exact 'center' of the state of Wisconsin. Not sure what make or year, but I liked the photo, and chose to do a little photoshop manipulation to create this print!
Pat Gleason, Hot Springs National Park Member Since April 2007 Artist Statement Photography started as a hobby for me when I was in my teens. I have always enjoyed and appreciated the fine arts, and particularly the graphic arts. I enjoy the expression of freedom, and the capture of the unknown, and the diversity that exists in this culture. My image galleries are quite diverse, and I like to shoot a variety of different subjects.
I graduated in 2004 from the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula Montana. I was enrolled in their Digital Intensive Program.
My initiative for shooting has it's ebb and flows, and I sometimes take a sabatical for periods of time. Each time I do, I come back a little more creative, it seems. I would someday like to be recognized for my work, and if I keep trying, and keep shooting, I believe that to be inevitable. I hope you enjoy some of my images.
