Artist Statement My interest in photography began at a very young age. My parents bought me a cheap Kodak 110 to "play" with. Instead of playing I began to learn composition and lighting. From there I progressed from camera to camera until I bought a Canon AE1 Program. This is where the true passion started. The ability to control every aspect of the photograph was the catalyst for years of photographic journies, throught the USA and other countries.

I have used a variety of film and digital cameras over the years. Now I am back to film using a Bronica ETRSi medium format camera. I believe film still has a richer and broader range than digital.

I also became a fan of the Digital arts. First starting with Adobe's PhotoShop PS7, up to what I use now, CS4, Bryce, and various other programs. I have been pleasantly surprised at the requests for my work, and for the positives critiques I have recieved. But, I don't have a huge head, yet (LOL), I still listen to all constructive critisism.

I hope that all of you will enjoy what you see here as you browse my work.
