Artist Statement Zarah is a Filipino artist born and raised in the Philippines but is currently based in Los Angeles, California.

Zarah started painting as a child but did not take it seriously until she migrated to the United States. The challenges of every day life, her need of self expression and the desire to somehow hush down tangential thoughts lead her to rekindle her love of painting. Most of her paintings are in made using Acrylic paints.

Zarah's creative mind usually peaks up at night. She likes to paint when everything around her is quiet and the only thing rambling are her thoughts. Her inspirations are mostly the realities around her and the desire to express her emotions at the moment.

Zarah is an Accountant by profession. She has a Degree in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration. But her true passion is painting. Her artisitic ability is not limited to painting, she also makes beautiful hand poured candles and photography.
