DescriptionThis piece was based on the failure of being loved and the lust of being in love. She has this overwhelming desire to be loved, which keeps her holding onto the one that will never love in return. Her heart aches for him but the faceless man has no desire to care or even notice. The faceless man represents not only one man, but represents all the men she has grown to lust over. In reality it’s not really him she has lust for, but the lust of love. The woman that has that kind of lust for love has never been loved or ever been in love herself.
Stephanie Collazo, BROOKLYN Member Since August 2011 Artist Statement My creations are a little out of the ordinary, complex and intricate but I enjoy being different which separates me from the rest.
My paintings consist of Acrylic, Oil and Water colors which lean more to the Abstract side but also branch out to Surrealism and other styles of Art. Each painting contains its own unique vibe & style and invokes different feelings and attitudes. Some paintings consist of random shapes, faces, flowers, tress and every other image that my transcendent imagination decides to lead me to.
My paintings is my personal diary, for who I am, what I've seen, where I been mentally and physically and where I want to be. Now it’s my pleasure to share my art and a piece of my world with you. I hope you all enjoy my art as much as I enjoyed creating it.
