These pears grew on a tree near Pleasant Hill, Louisiana at the home of close relatives. The family has suffered tragedies, but when I am on this property, I get feeling of imminence, as if reunion were about to happen.
The original is oil on stretched canvas. In the "Grande" size, it will appear somewhat abstract on close view. Step back, and it all comes together.
