Description In the Andes Mountains, traditional native farmers grow coffee on the small piece of land they own. They hand pick the coffee cherries, carry them on their back to the hand-pulpers nearby, and also carry them by foot to the nearest town which can be up to 8 hours away. They sell their coffee beans at the city market and purchase their own goods before returning home. Andean coffee is mildly acidic, light to medium in body but flavorful and aromatic. Peruvian coffee is delicious.
