Description This little contemporary abstract has a definite Picasso feel to it! As with all my Twirls (a name I've given to this series I've done), I start by just placing the pen on the paper and sort of allowing it to lead me around the page until I feel the stop has arrived. I then go back in and start to embellish and enhance. What I like about this piece is that it feels like eyes within the middle. Creepy, yet interesting!
Jean Dewitt, Newnan, GA Member Since January 2010 Artist Statement Poet, artist, songwriter, & blogger who is bonkers about good biographies, persistent in my pursuit of learning French, & just plain weird when it comes to symmetry. I am a “quiet” philanthropist (or “good deed doer” according to the Wizard of Oz) who likes to make a difference in people’s lives. I enjoy too many things & wish I could be more focused. (Suspicions of ADD have crossed my mind!) One of my dreams is to have a library just like Professor Henry Higgins (My Fair Lady)…ladder & all!
