Description I love how the line is becoming more and more blurred between what is painting and what is photography. We've all seen classical oil paintings portraying the tree of knowledge from the book of Genesis. How does creating a photograph of it change the context or concept? I also love dramatic, climactic moments that have a cinematic feel to them. My goal with this piece was to create and capture that hugely profound moment seconds after fruit from the tree of knowledge was eaten. In these few brief moments after the fact I imagine this spiritual world falling into instant chaos and death and mortality being introduced.
