DescriptionMorning storm and rainbow over the Grand Teton Mountains and the famous Moulton barn. I got to the site early to capture the alpenglow which never showed up because of clouds in the east. Just as I was ready to give up this thunderhead moved across the mountains from south to north. And then I couldn't believe my eyes when this rainbow appeared, perfectly placed from where I was set up.Yes, the rainbow is real. The HDR was composed and tonemapped in Photomatix with only a slight contrast adjustment in PS.
