Artist Statement I can't remember ever wanting to be anything besides an artist! As a child growing up in Central Florida, I spent hours creating pastel and pencil drawings, portraits, and watercolor paintings.

By the time I was married with three kids, art had been on the back burner for awhile. Determined to get back to my roots, I created and sold my first abstract painting online in 2004. In the following years I sold numerous paintings nationwide through ebay and private comissions.

My style has grown and changed with time, and my love for realism has emerged in my work once again. I now enjoy painting portraits, landscapes, and just about anything that strikes me as interesting. I have transitioned from using acrylics exclusively to using oils as well. Though I've had no formal training, I enjoy the challenge of uncharted territory within my artwork, and learn new things with each painting.

I feel inspired by God our Creator, and the countless masterpieces He has made. Discovering the beauty He has placed in the world around us is a passion of mine, and I hope my artwork will inspire others to do the same.

I am currently living in Central Florida, with my husband, Jason, and our three fun and rowdy boys! I love spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, gardening, listening to music, and hiking.
