Description Thoughtful surreal image of a lady in red, known from other illustrations of mine as to be mischievous, apparently seeking some sort of knowledge as indicated by the apple with the key hole. She has attempted to take a shortcut by chopping off the branches, but the apple stubbornly refuses to fall. The formula on the side of the tree trunk is the classical formula for gravity derived by Isaac Newton.

I've been painting the old fashioned way since I was about ten, and the new-fangled digital way for around five years now. It isn't what I do for a living, but there is very little else I would ever rather be doing. My work tends to fall into two distinctly different categories: The first are those that are realistic depictions of common vehicles, structures or landscapes. The second type is a bit harder to classify, but the general themes are usually skewed towards fantasy, science fiction or a scene that could only otherwise be found in a particularly vivid dream. I hope you find them interesting or possibly inspiring. Thanks for dropping by.
