Artist Statement As a South Florida resident for many years the splendor of the flowers and fauna of this subtropical area have always fascinated me. I have been working in chalk pastels and color photography on a series that tries to capture this colorful scenery. I have also been working on a black and white series on a place that is far and opposite of South Florida. For Many years I have vacationed in Door County, Wisconsin. This area is a combination of rural farmland with lake and bay views. I tried to capture the unusual, odd and scenic places in this area using a variety of medium/large format film cameras and lately with professional digital cameras
My photography has been featured in the spotlight section of Black & White magazine issue # 73. It features a series called ”Rockscapes of South Florida”.
