Description Original watercolor on 120# arches cold press watercolor paper, with digital colorization.A lovely large Hibiscus Flower painted from life, with the image digitally manipulated to red hues, with greenish brown foliage and an, as yet, unfurled bud. My version of the beautiful blooms of my backyard garden.
Rhonda L. Hall, Corning NY Member Since November 2007 Artist Statement I have always loved photography, drawing and painting, among other creative endeavors. I am a self taught artiist, though I have taken a few classes through the years. Other interests such as reading, genealogy, hiking, nature, geology and environmental issues are often reflected in my work, although I like to experiment with anything that catches my interest.
I enjoy working with Mixed Media, and Bead and Jewelry making as well. I have been working with recycled materials in creating artwork, and would love to learn to weld and make outdoor sculptures from recycled finds.
I hope you will find some pleasure in the images I have included here, and I appreciate your interest. Thanks for stopping by.
