DescriptionAs most paintings over time will have in some form or another St George claiming victory over a defeated dragon, this piece is quite the opposite. It depicts St George on a cliff crouched down while dragons swoop down to claim their revenge. The dragons shown are that of the elements, earth, air, fire and water.
Kelly Foxhall, Kent Member Since February 2008 Artist Statement I was born Kelly J Robinson in 1981 but took my mother's name to become Kelly J Foxhall. Firstly I am an Artist & Author.Secondly I am an Information & Communications Manager. I have two websites www.kjfox.co.uk and www.digidragon.gb.com that display my artwork and books. I studied art & design through school, this was my first love followed by IT. I was unsure what career to go for, if I could just draw all day that would have suited me fine. I had an art business drafted by the age of 17 but began my law career at 19 where I worked in one of the top commercial law firms. From then on I have had careers in Corporate, Employment, IT and shipping law ranging from Paralegal to IT Trainer. I have also been a martial arts instructor and in 2006 I decided to leave law completely and joined the National Health Service, to work in the Cardiac Network, project management (on an IT project) and currently within an improvement organisation as an Information & Communications Manager. I love learning and by the end of 2007 had obtained some 40 something qualifications, including a law degree, a degree equivalent in web specialism, an internet journalist diploma, legal diploma and media law diploma. I am currently undertaking a Masters in law. By 2005 I had successfully launched www.kjrobinson.co.uk (which has now expired and is www.kjfox.co.uk) and in June 2007 my first book The Dragon Realm Chronicles - Stefan Lowe (featured on www.digidragon.gb.com) was published. This was a combination of two short stories previously drafted (Christmas Competition (written in 2005) and Leave the City behind (written in 2002), and will be part of an 8 book series. I aim to continue to develop my pieces (predominantly around dragons I feel), also including animation. As well I will be concentrating on writing the books and self publishing as the series should take me through to 2011. I am also interested in becoming more involved in supporting my main charities.
