Crew of the Black Heart #1

This painting shows some of the crew of the XMS Black Heart; in the upper left is the first officer "cider", in the upper right is crewman "Gums Wilson", and at the bottom is the deckhand known only as "The Caribbean". The original was painted in gouache on printmaking paper and is 14" x 10".

Fresh Recruits

This image is a roster of some of the latest additions to the XMS Blackheart's crew. The original is 14" x 10" and is gouache on printmaking paper.

Unexpected Treasure

The crew of the XMS Black Heart sets anchor near the treacherous waters of Head Island only to find an unexpected treasure at the bottom of the sea - a half buried sea golum. The sea golum quickly joins the pirate's quest for endless treasure. The original is 14"x10" and is painted in gouache on printmaking paper.

Remembering Hanzel UND Gretel

One of the very first Fairy Tale images I painted, this image defined the style I would use as a basis for all future fairy tale images. The original is 20" x 13" and is mixed media (acrylic, ink, chalk pastel, and colored pencil) on board.

Remembering Dumpty

I've always imagined Humpty Dumpty as some sort of Zombie like character, unable to die, whose consciousness somehow remains intact even if he is shattered into many pieces. The original is made of 2 panels, totaling 27" x 11" and is mixed media (acrylic, ink, chalk pastel, and colored pencil) on board.
