Watercolor Dragonfly Sun

Original painting of a dragonfly done with watercolors, the background behind the sun was added in photoshop. "I've got wild staring eyes, I've got a strong urge to fly..." Pink Floyd and a friend of mine (JGoode) were the inspiration for this painting.

Watercolor Hermet Crab

This is a hermit crab done mostly in watercolors, with a tiny bit of shadow effect added to it and applied to a beach photo background (which I applied a light bit of "watercolor" effect to to help it go together).

Wings of The Dragonfly

Photograph of a Dragonfly taken in Oceanside, CA. on the underside of one of our plants. He/She isn't brightly colored like some you see but the wings came out very clear (that can be hard to catch when taking photos of Dragonflies) and I like the grey/blue coloration on it. *Update - 7/15/07 This is a Blue Darner - Aeshna multicolor

This photo was taken in Kauai during my vacation in October of '06 I'm not sure I've ever seen such a content looking bird!

Creature Comforts Kitty

This is a photo taken of my mom's kitty Gir (well, thats what I had named her when she was a tiny kitten. My mom re-named her Gremlin) She loves me best when I wear a grey sweatshirt, I think she thinks I'm a big momma cat. jeje

Balance - Dragonfly

Bright orangy/red dragonfly in by "turtle yard" outside of my home office window in Oceanside, CA. Normally these fellows don't let me get near them so the first shot was taking through my window screen and I was amazed he let me get so close to him outside. He's hanging out on a stalk of Canna (before the blossoms start coming out).
