I saw this scene along the road and had to stop and take the shot. This old broken down chair looks right at home sitting in the grass by this old barn. The shot was taken with a leica digital and processed in photoshop.

Rural America

This old barn is located in Illinois along Route 47 near Elgin. I love the rustic tones in the wood. I applied a fresco filter in Photoshop to give it a watercolor feel.

Stormy Day on th Farm

This is a barn outside my town. I took the photo on a drizzly day and decided to work with that and turned it into a stormy day using photoshop filters.

This is a photo of a lovely old weatherd fence with an old rusted hoe hanging from it. The composition of it just caught my eye and it looks as good in print as I imagined.

Ivy on the Fence

This shot was taken in the Bucktown neighborhood in Chicago. I love the contrast of the old fence and the Ivy agianst the stone stairs.

This is an unusual shot of two irises. It gives you more of the color and form rather than just the flower.
