This work was exhibited at the 86th Annual Exhibition of the Society of Graphic Fine Art at the Menier Gallery in central London. The original drawing is in pen and black ink with coloured pencil on Arches Hot Press. The scene is the entrance to the famous fish market on the south side of the Grand Canal, opposite the Ca D'Oro and near the Rialto. Fish have been sold from this site for the last 600 years.
