Started life as a picture of some red tulips in a jumbled background. Has come through many iterations to get here. I particularly like the 'sparkle' that the petals have developed allong the way.

Eilean Donan Castle at Night

The castle on the island of Eilean Donan at night. Used for the films Highlander with Mell Gibson and Loch Ness with Ted Danson. The Island has been fortified for at least 800 years.

The Deep

Started life as a picture of the detail on the side of an ancient urn. Much manipulated. May look better displayed vertically? You decide - I couldn't ! Was going for a Neptune look but St. Peter?

Pelargonium

Crimson on black does it for me every time - and this is one of my favorites. Best printed on a paper that will retain the rich reds and deep blacks.
