Enso Aven

Enso Aven by accomplished Carmel artist Casey Shannon. Media: Sumi (ink) and Japanese Watercolor. This image was inspired by my granddaughter soon to be born. Her name will be Aven. It is a 15th century Celtic name. Also inspired by 'mountain aven's'. This delicate but sturdy flower grows in high altitudes and is related to the rose.
