Beach Man

In "Beach Man" is composed of a vintage era photograph from my collection of a young man enjoying a day at the shore. Symbols of the ocean and written words surround him representative of lazy days at the shore in the wonderful Summer time.

Best Friends

"Best Friends" is a digital collage work created from my own personal vintage photographic collection. Here, two close friends or sisters cherish each other's being while enjoying a carefree afternoon at the shore on a sun drenched Summer afternoon. Written words which represent letters, diary entries and day dreams float about the two like a loving mist. Two large beautiful pink shells represent the bond of their friendship and their desire to protect it from harm.

Beach Couple

"Beach Couple" features a circa 1930 couple from my vintage photography collection and incorporates a very contemporary design while reflecting a distinctively "retro" color scheme. Beach themes are reflected in this work through color fields representing blue Summer skies and orange and gold hues sand. Fading written words envelope the couple invoking memories and sweet recollections.

Beach Girls

Digitally collaged from vintage photographs and ephemera, ""Beach Girls" feature two identical vintage bathing beauties soak in the sun surrounded by imagery of the shore and the sea calling forth lazy days at the beach in the glorious Summer time.

"Butterflies & Mermaids"

Decidedly composed from collaged vintage photographic and ephemeral imagery, "Butterflies & Mermaids" evokes magical days of fantasy creatures and lilting electric blue butterflies that sweep through a colorful ocean of memories and imagery that calls forth a time of childhood innocence and fairy tales.

"Party Dress"

Digitally collaged from vintage photographs and ephemera, "Party Dress" speaks emotional volumes of love and desire. A young woman ( from a circa 1910 photograph) gently caresses a magnificent butterfly as she patiently waits in her doorway for guests, or perhaps even a suitor, to arrive. She is surrounded by symbolic imagery representing her thoughts and desires including exotic Asian dancers, a regal lion, a faded letter and much more.

"The Bee Keeper's Daughters"

Digitally collaged from vintage photographs and ephemera, "The Bee Keeper's Daughters" speaks resonates with poetic imagery. A teen-aged girl ( from a circa 1950 photograph) is digitally reproduced to create three identical "twins". They are surrounded by symbolic imagery representing thoughts, hopes, passion, love and more.
