Lake Solitude is about ten miles from the trail head at Jenny Lake so you better have plenty of energy or a horse before you head up the trail.

The Grand Teton's from Towgatte Pass in winter. The Grand Teton Range is beautiful from many vantage points and this one from Towgatte Pass certainly is among the best. This vantage point is about twenty miles east of Grand Teton National Park which provides a view that encompasses most of the park and this magnificent mountain range.
