Did this painting using TwistedBrush with oil pastels. you've really got to open up the larger version of this and step back from the computer a ways to see how the light plays on the clumps of grass- up close, it doesn't work well, but at a bit of distance, it really works quite nicely- it's like a whole different painting then- Enjoy

This piece was doen from a snapshot of a river in a nice cool spot that just begged to be painted. You can just see the light up around the bend as the river made the turn into the cool shadow are where I took the picture.

Lake Scene

A small park overlooking a lake. I was intrigued by the set of trees and the light on the lake, and decided to do a painting of the scene. The gray area is a paved rollerblading spot for folks to recreate on and made a nice contrast to the water and sky. I hope you enjoy it.

Late fall, Tote road in the mountains. You can almost sense the deer around the corner waiting to bolt off into the thickets just as you round the corner and step on a twig and announcing your presence
