Schweitzer Nights

The lifts are closed for the day and night is falling at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Sandpoint, Idaho...the Mountain on the Lake! The original is acrylic on canvas. It was selected to appear on the cover of SkyWest Magazine, Nov-Dec '07, along with an article about me. The issue is focused on the Sandpoint, Idaho area.

Mountain Stream

Kayak at Dusk

North Idaho lakes are nice. We were out there not long ago. Just after sunset the wind died down, calm spread over the lake. Signed by the artist, lower left corner. Intelligent Cat

Meow Meow is seventeen plus as near as we can figure. Kinda stiff, but still going strong. Signed by artist lower right. Should look super at 36"!

Nocturnal Cat

Native to Costa Rica, if you saw one you'd want it for a pet. At least I do. Not legal though. They are beautiful...maybe half again as big as a large house cat. Signed by artist lower left. Available in sizes up to 24x36" which I think would be awesome.

Chimp

Full grown chimps don't make good pets. They will attack people going for the hands and feet first just as they do with one another. They're about 5 times as strong as a big human male. And very intelligent. This might go well in a den or trophy room. Signed by the artist lower right.

Swan

Somewhere in the wilds of Alaska, at least in part, the swan lives out it's life eating, sleeping, flying, mating, without interaction with humans. Signed by the artist, lower right: 'Bissett Ed. 100. This image is limited to a total of one hundred giclees regardless of size.

Wood Storks

Costa Rica is the bird watchers paradise. We saw these storks along the Pacific coast. Signed by the artist lower left corner.

Bud Dog

Priest Lake Marina

Not far from my house in north Idaho is found Lake Pend Oreille. Late one evening last spring the llight was just right. Signed by the artist lower right corner.

First Snow

A trip to Glacier Park the end of September this year was cut short by a real snow storm. Hoping for mountains I was happy to find this. Signed by the artist, lower right....What others say about this painting:..."That, my friend, is some really interesting stuff – the horizon lost in the spindrift, the snow just sticking to the grass tufts and high spots, the water in the drainage ditch.
