This allegorical image is about the madcap economy. Should I get into it? Okay! The regulator below is about to be run over as the 'economy car' crashes the gate; a woman rushes her child (future generations) out of the fray. In the cigar-chomping car, we have the cowboy stockbroker, the free credit advocate, the house flipper (driving), a man who has lost his savings, and a Nero figure burning money to light his cigar. I think this should be a favorite among the investing set! Originally appeared in the Chicago Tribune on their Business Quarterly cover in the fall of 2007.
