An experimental portrait where the expression of the inner life is conveyed by altered external appearance. The part of a metallic frame that appears above the head is to remind the beholder that not only the beauty but also the autoreflexivity is in his eyes. Sony Alpha 900, Minolta zoom 35-105, optical travelling. And it almost looks like it was slightly postprocessed. :0)

Black Boats

This one displays very differently on my calibrated high-end HP monitor depending whether I open it in the MS Windows Viewer or in Photoshop. It looks much better in PS, because Windows oversaturates the original already saturated colors. I can only hope that at least a hint will remain on all the different PC monitors out there. Groove Check

Made using Sony Alpha 900 with the "secret handshake" 28-135 mm zoom. Postprocessed, resampled, etc. A pic of my son whom I taught playing drums. I was a professional drummer thirty years ago. Or was it yesterday?

Shadows of Fukushima

A wild one... Sony Alpha 900 with Minolta 28-135mm zoom. What a wonderful lens! It has a nice color rendition and a unique bokeh, hasn't it? Strong compositional lines, a person exactly where she was needed (dead on the spot?) and a black solarized sun. Could one reasonably ask for more?

Ropes

Nice reflections in a harbor, shot using a Fuji Finepix S602, 3MP. Extensively postprocessed, posterized, then resampled to a much larger size.

Panasonic DMC LX-3. Devilishly postprocessed. That bottle used to be full of delicious single malt. Then the evil ghost came... emptied the bottle and moved in.
