The tree and the furrows

A lonely tree in the Italian countryside. What intrigued me the most here were the furrows leading the eye to the tree.

This is one of my favorites and first still-life shots. To many it reminds of Caravaggio's style... and I must agree! :)

An experimental shot. The subject is a scanned leaf and the image was then manipulated in PS.

It was among the finalists of the 3rd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest.

This fish tank was in a hotel's lounge. I was lucky enough to capture the goldfish in the moment he seemed to be looking out of his fishbowl to the outside world.
