Dream Together captures man and woman in the organic center, within an abstract urban setting. The contrast of humankind relationships growing in an industrial world was the focus of this piece. The tree shape at center draws you in to the story between man and woman.

The Rainy Day

The Rainy Day is an impressionistic oil pastel capturing the sense of an "old" town hustle of people, and horse drawn buggies. The texture, and faint shapes help keep the eye wandering the paper, while the light post in the foreground presents itself as the foundation that holds everything together.

An Afternoon Sail

From my favorite sailing series, this piece captures the motion and texture of the wind and sail. Great blues make these prints really pop, and accent any room for the sailing enthusiast.

The Evening Sail

The Evening Sail is another from my sailing series that was drawn from life sailing outside of Annapolis, MD. I put in great texture, and blues to create a sense of the substance and texture of being in the wind and sail environment.

Gallery Walk is one of my most cubist pieces. I focused on line and shape without disregarding the story of the couple enjoying an art walk and each other.

I attempted to capture the emotion of the field worker. The long vertical shape at center contrasts nicely with the primary blues, reds, and yellows in the environment.

Late for the Symphony is one of my more recent cubist pieces. The struggle between line and shape is contrasted nicely by the calming eyes of the subject.

Picnic By The Bay captures a cozy picnic on the shore of a bay. This piece is very striking with the use of blues, greens, and yellow.

Blue Angel Dream is a cubist and impressionistic scene capturing a personal moment between creature and nature.

Central Park Flowers

Central Park Flowers is one of my favorite pieces. The dark surrounding environment frames in the woman with flowers. A nice mysterious light gently draws her emotions forward.

The Morning Reflection is a peaceful scene of a small sail boat tied up early in the morning. Great image for the sailing or boating enthusiast.

The Traveling Guitarist has a nice blend of color and line. The artist in the foreground is surrounded by a surreal and alive countryside.

This piece done from life in Dijon, France is one of my favorite impressionistic pieces. The sense of people walking in the rain creates a very gentle somber theme to this piece.

The Wine Lunch peaks in on a moment between man and woman enjoying a glass of wine. The textured and motion driven background wraps itself around man and woman.
