DescriptionI love the other world you start to see when looking through your camera's macro lens. I spend a lot of time looking at the decay and rust of the old and abandoned industrial world in my area--the processes of nature are taking over. Just as the sun, water, wind and ice, year after year work their art on the mountains and canyons, they slowly reclaim trains, warehouses and old factories. This vibrant activity is perhaps best seen through the macro lens, the peeling of paint, rusting of metal, and crumbling of stone--beauty.
Evan Evan Member Since September 2007 Artist Statement My great loves are travel, photography and art. On the side I do all sorts of work, of course... I study art history, classics, anthropology and philosophy at various universities. The truth is, I am interested in everything, I am constantly walking "just around the next corner" to see what is ahead.
