Artist Statement My name is Caetano Ramalho and i live in Algarve, south of Portugal, Europe. Since my twenties I started to draw in paper and charcoal in a surrealistic style. My first exhibition happen in the year 2000 in Montemor-O-Novo, Alentejo, Portugal exclusively with draws.
During several years I didn´t paint or draw anything, but I started in a consistent and regular work in 2010, drawing in charcoal, pencil, and oil painting. Since 2010 I I made several individual exhibitions by the Algarve region, Portugal.
I draw and paint in several styles according my predisposing at the moment, mainly surrealism and wildlife. I hope you enjoy my works.
