DescriptionThis was one of a large flock of Sandwich Terns diving headfirst for very small fish near a sandbar at the Clam Pass Beach in Naples, FL. They are a very small water bird and fly very fast and were some distance from shore, hence I feel very lucky to have captured this shot as I had to zoom in and crop quite a bit to get a usable image.

I have always had an interest in photography & have been the guy with the camera at family events, etc. Now,that I have recently retired, I have the time to study & get serious with this wonderful craft. I am having a great time discovering & learning all the nuances of my newest camera, the Canon 7D. For most of my wildlife images I use the Canon Zoom Lens EF 100-400mm L series. My main interest is wildlife and nature photography, but I will also focus my attention on most any subject that moves me. In addition, I do enjoy manipulating images with Photoshop. I do hope you enjoy as much as I do the fine details of my photographic subjects!
