Description On a cold and damp Friday afternoon in February I went for a walk in Millennium Park. The brief period of sunlight made for a few great snap shots of The Bean (proper name is The Cloud Gate). Please enjoy the city reflected in this sculpture.

From a very young age she participated in all kinds of visual and dramatic arts. Mrs. Drake became acquainted with film photography in her teen years where she practiced developing and enlarging 35 mm film. Recently Mrs. Drake began the foray into digital SLR photography. Her favorite subjects are of created and natural beauty, which are found in the architecture of the city and in the wilds of nature. Mrs. Drake’s travels have afforded her a range of subject matter. Pattern, texture, color, light and shadow are all equally important in her work. Mrs. Drake desires her work to be relatable and familiar yet be able to evoke emotion or a sense memory, even creating a new one.
