Artist Statement BIOGRAPHY
Constantine Mogilevskiy was born on 22 May 1953 in Lugansk. He graduated from painting faculty of Lugansk Art College in 1972.
He graduated summa cum laude from Kharkov Art and Industry Institute, specializing in monumental-decorative Art in 1981.
Since 1988 Constantine has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He works in easel painting, and monumental art (stained-glass windows, mosaics, fresco).
Has been a participant of domestic and foreign art exhibitions, artistic groups in Ukraine, Hungary, and Croatia.
Has made a lot of glass-paintings in private and public architectural ensembles.
His paintings are in private collections of Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Croatia, Germany, Switzerland, and the USA.

STATEMENT
The main theme of Constantine Mogilevskiy’s art is the “beauty of things, which tells us something about our past”. The combination of perfect technique and philosophical thoughts and moods makes his paintings unforgettable. That is why his art finds so many admirers all over the world.
