Description This print is from an original 29' X 20' oil on paper, 'Road To Kennedy Meadows, Sequoia National Forest, California' by Warren Keating. It depicts some really interesting light breaking through the clouds after a rainstorm on my way up the mountain to a campground in Sequoia National Forest. With my signature application of thick paint with aggressive brush strokes, it epitomizes my style of landscape painting and my pursuit of unusual lighting. When these are photographed to create the giclee prints, the lighting is controlled in such a way to emphasize the texture of the thick paint; giving the impression of the original in a much less expensive print form.
