Artist Statement Started in Photography way back in the 80's working and in School, working as a news and event photographer, some how got side tracked into other areas chasing money like everyone else did back then, but kept at it behind it all. Most of my work is on Film, and it still continues to be primarily the medium I work in. However after a few years working on a reserach and commercial project at Kodak in Rochester, I've added Digital methods to my work. I try to take the best of both worlds into everything, trying to get the look I want from not only the Dark room but a variety of old and new gear.

Every camera I find is worth a 2nd look. I will often find and tear down and re-build my Film Cameras if I think they can be used.

Currently living with my wife and kids in Upstate NY. We have lived all over the country, moving my family from NY to San Diego California, then the Mid-west, to the Mid-Atlantic and now right back to NY where we started.

Plan to be the old guy in the park selling his photos at the Art Market someday. Much of what I have done lately is for a few local clients displayed in their homes and offices, and some Mico-Stock work. I just keep at it and add to the back log for the old guy to run thru.

I have a picture the old guy at his booth in a lawn chair, a cooler of cold beer, just gimme a warm sunny day.... some grand kids..... box of memories... camera in hand, fly rod in the car ready to roll...... what a way to go. Perhaps an Allman brothers concert that night, but it would be too much to ask.
