Nancy Polo, Berryville Member Since June 2009 Artist Statement I paint with acrylics and watercolors. I draw bunnies and write poetry. In the summer I play with clay. Much of my work serves as a filter for my interactions with those who surround me. The rest are images that dance in my imagination before they emerge on paper, canvas or out of the kiln.
My style and medium vary to suit what I have to express.
Although my work has been represented in local shows, galleries and stores, I have never pursued consistently selling my art.
I own my own kitchen business where I represent and sell my home-made products each week at farmers markets. This is what I do to pay the bills and put food on the table. Making art is what I do to be happy.
